Behavior Plan
Our Classroom Expectations:
o Homework completed daily
o Classwork completed daily
o Everyone pitches in with the job board
o Exit room with permission only
o Take turns
o Listen attentively to teacher and classmates
o Follow directions
o Speak respectfully to teacher and classmates
o Be patient
o Be truthful
o Take responsibility for own actions/choices
o Keep materials neat and organized
o Stay focused on tasks
o Ask questions
o Share ideas
o Read as much as you can!
o Take care of one another
o Be a bucket filler
o Have fun!
Behavior Consequences:
1. Verbal warning
2. Written warnings in behavior log
3. Reflection Center & complete written reflection certificate to be signed by teacher and parent
4. Time-out buddy room
5. Recess detention
6. Office referral
**Bullying, fighting, exiting without permission, and stealing are immediate office referrals**
Rewards:
My Behavior Management System
o Monthly behavior/homework/classwork log kept in agenda
o Monthly log sent home at the end of the month for parent signature
o Logs do not carry over into the next month, so students start fresh at the beginning of each new month
o Agendas are checked at the end of each day to ensure all homework and communication is noted in the daily agenda and then stamped with teacher’s signature
o Parents/guardians are expected to check the agenda daily and review homework with the student and sign the agenda daily
o Agendas will be checked by the teacher each morning and missing signatures will be noted. There is no penalty to the student for a missing parent signature.

- No checks in behavior log for entire month = opportunity for Good Citizen of the Month (GCOM)
- If there are 2 or more students eligible for GCOM, one name will be randomly drawn for GCOM
- Monthly Reward Day
- Weekly Prize Bucket
- Monthly Prize Auction
